Career Seminar School License number: 569 as required by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission
Renewal Date: 9/30 each year
Hours required: 6 elective hours. There is not a required course for the 2013 license renewal cycle from 10/01/12-09/30/13.
CE Shop Offering: 6 elective hours
Reporting: Real estate course completions are recorded with the Arkansas State Board of Private Education each business day as required by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. Those completions are then posted on the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. It may take 2-4 business days from the time we report your hours before the Commission updates your license and/or updates their website with the hours. Please be patient with this process and understand that it may vary depending on your state. Course completion(s) are reported on the designated and publicly posted scheduled days. Course completion(s) will be reported the following scheduled reporting day from the course completion date(s).
Expiration date of course: Courses expire one year after the order date.
Post Licensing: A new salesperson must complete the 18-hour AREC post-licensure course within 12 months after the date the individual was initially licensed. A new broker must complete the 30-hour AREC post-licensure course within 12 months after the date the individual was initially licensed, unless the applicant wants to become an Executive Broker or Principal Broker. In that case, the brokers’ post-licensure requirement must be met before requesting such status as an Executive or Principal Broker. Post-license is satisfied by classroom attendance only. The CE Shop, Inc. does not currently offer these post-licensure courses.
Final Exams: Final exams must be passed with a 75% and may be taken as many times as necessary in order to pass.
Certificates: Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date on your certificates of completion will reflect this.
Additional renewal information: If submitting a renewal application via paper, licensees must complete all CE and submit proof of CE completions (certificates of completion) with their renewal paperwork to AREC postmarked no later than 09/30 each year in order to avoid a late penalty. If submitting a renewal application via online, licensees must renew their license no later than 09/30 to avoid a late penalty and have until 12/31 to complete their CE.
Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process.
